The Keychain Remote Control (also called a Keyfob) can be used to arm or disarm your tattletale, and can send a panic signal up to 600-800 ft. away from your base unit.

How do I test it?

Simply arm and disarm the base unit and verify it is working.

How many Keyfobs can I program to my tattletale?

You can program up to 50 Keyfobs to your tattletale, 1 per user.

Will this work on any tattletale?

You can program your Keyfob to multiple tattletale Consumer Units.

 

This will not work with our Commercial Unit.

What type of battery does it take?

A Keyfob uses two CR2025 batteries.

How far away will this work?

The Keyfob will work up to a maximum of 300' away from your base unit.

What is the Panic feature and how do I use it?

After you have chosen which Remote Panic (Police or Medical) option you would like, simply press and hold the two top buttons on your Keyfob to activate a Panic alert.

 

If your tattletale is monitored with Central Station Monitoring, this will result in an immediate dispatch of whichever service you have chosen.

 

Important: Do not test this feature without calling us first to place your system on test.

 

If you choose to have no Panic alert, your base unit will make a brief error noise.

How do I change the Panic Feature?

To change your Panic Alert option, press Settings, enter your PIN, select Users, highlight which User you want to edit, press Edit, press Remote, and press Panic Option.

 

Choose which feature best fits your needs and select Done.

What if I lose my Keyfob?

In this case, select Settings, enter your PIN, select Users, and then highlight the User whose Keyfob is missing. Once highlighted in white, select Edit, select Remote, and then press Delete and confirm the deletion.

What does the button with the bell do?

This button activates and deactivates the Chime Mode. This will cause your base unit to chime when your sensors are tripped.

 

To turn Chime Mode on or off, just press the bell button once.
